Ça y est, je suis désormais citoyen de l'arrondissement Edogawa à Tokyo. Mercredi dernier je me suis enregistré à l'hôtel de ville (Edogawa Kuyakusho) et je recevrai sous peu ma "gaijin card" (carte pour étrangers). Je ne suis pas tout à fait installé dans mon appartement à Minami Kasai dans le sud de l'arrondissement car il reste quelques détails à régler. En outre, ma connection Internet sera en service le 1er juin prochain. Nous devons également acheter des meubles au IKEA à Chiba. Pour l'instant je me balade essentiellement dans "mon arrondissement", question de connaître l'endroit comme le fond de ma poche. Par exemple, je suis allé faire mon pélerinage à la tour Funabori dont j'afficherai les photos bientôt. Je suis souvent aux prises avec la fatigue, le "jet lag" est plutôt coriace.

I am now officially a resident of Edogawa in Tokyo. Last Wednesday I went to the Edogawa City Hall (Edogawa Kuyakusho) to register myself and I will soon get my Gaijin Card. I'm not completely settled in my appartment which is located in Minami Kasai, south of the borough. For instance, the Internet will only be activated on June 1st. We also need to purchase some furniture at IKEA in Chiba. Meanwhile, I am taking walks around in order to get mysefl accustomed with the area. Of course, I went to the Funabori tower to enjoy the best view. I shall post pictures of that soon. I am frequently tired, the jet lag is such a killer.
