Les corbeaux de Tokyo/ Tokyo Crows

Les corbeaux, les Karasu comme on les appelle ici. Il sont nombreux. Ils sont partout. A Tokyo. A Edogawa. Maintenant l'été et la visite saisonière des cicadas passés, c'est à leur tour de se faire entendre. Et on les entend croasser souvent, surtout tôt le matin. Ils sont gros et font la loi, même les chat en sont terrifiés! Et lorsque c'est la journée de la collecte des vidanges, le "party" est assuré. C'est pourquoi il est essentiel de mettre un filet sur les sacs de détritus. Néanmoins, comme ce n'est jamais parfait il s'en trouve toujours quelques malins qui réussissent à se payer un bon repas, au grand dam des employés de la ville qui doivent ramasser la "table" après. Non vraiment, quand ils sont 10 autours d'un sac on n'a pas vraiment le goût de passer par là. D'ailleurs, paraîtrait que ces bêtes attaquent parfois les humains.

Crows, called Karasu here, are everywhere in Tokyo and Edogawa. Their numbers have substantially increased over the past 10 years to the point they are now considered a nuisance. Now that summer is gone, along with the cicadas, the crows make sure they can be heard. And let me tell you, you can hear them, all the time, especially in the morning. They're big and cats are even terrified of them! And when it's garbage collect day you can bet there's a crow party going on somewhere in the neighborhood (normally around Sogo Recreation Koen here). That's why putting a net over garbage bags is absolutely essential. Nevertheless, since things are not always perfect there are always opportunities for birds to feast, to city employee's great discontent who have to pick up the mess after. Really, when you see 10 of them around a you don't want to go near. Apparently they even attack humans sometimes.
